Surprise in the Maximilianstraße: Gumpert Apollo S

After last year's Geneva Motor Show where Gumpert showed us the Explosion it has been very quiet. Last year only two Gumperts were spotted. Last week the first Gumpert of this year is spotted. Another supercar was spotted in Munich.

Munich is city you must have visited in your life. The streets near the Maximilianstraße are filled with supercars during the season. Last two weeks Munich was crazy. Name a supercar and it's spotted in Munich. From the Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 to the LaFerrari. Last week, two Bugatti Veyrons were spotted and the list keeps on growing. The following Gumpert is more rare and especially way more extreme.

This copy is registered for a while already and is one of the last Apollos ever built. Due to the bizarre paint, the street legal race car stands out even more. With the looks of a Le Mans racing car, the Gumpert stands out more than the Ferraris and Lamborghinis in Munich. A mid-engine V8 from Audi produces 700 hp. Combine this much power with the low weight and the great aerodynamics and the result is a beast-like machine. According to a friend who drove a Gumpert once there aren't much cars as scary as the Gumpert Apollo. He warned the new owner of a Gumpert to not use the car on a wet road but the owner wouldn't listen.
