Been meaning to post this for a while now. I found this 488 GTB on Colony Rd at Roxborough Rd, then followed it to the Southpark Mall where it parked at Dick's Sporting Goods.

That is pretty. That color combo almost makes me like the 488 as much as the 458.

@pdk97_photography thanks! I would still take a 458 over this though.

@NCspotter. Hi Nick I did not realize how great looking this color was until I seen it up close for myself. Once again excellent job.

@NCspotter, Hi Nick how have you been buddy since the 4th of July? Spotting here Atlanta has been really slow I have seen some cool cars but not in large numbers. I guess I always get spoiled when I go to Miami lol. I cannot wait to see how this 488 drives in December. The track will really give me a idea how it stacks up to the 458. I bet I should be hitting at least 160 mph down the back straight. Once again congrats on spotting this beautiful Italian girl buddy.

@Horse-Power I have been really busy over the past couple of weeks and unfortunately haven't had a chance to do much spotting. I'll be in Charlotte again next week though, so hopefully I'll have a chance to do some spotting then. I have seen a few cool cars lately, but I've missed almost all of them aside from a matte grey Audi R8 V10. About a week and a half ago on Sunday, I saw either a Lotus Elise or a Noble M400 scoot by in the other direction on the interstate, but I only saw the top of it and couldn't tell for sure what it was. Needless to say, I wasn't able to get any pics. Then about an hour later, I unexpectedly saw a 458 Italia in an area of Raleigh not known for Ferraris, but it too was also going past in the other direction, so I only got one pic of it. On Sunday I saw a blue BMW i8 at Whole Foods, and I've seen a bunch of Maseratis over the past couple weeks as well (but I haven't taken any pics of those). I can't wait to hear your impressions of the 488 and its twin-turbocharged engine; from everything I've read, Ferrari has really figured out the turbo lag and exhaust issues that effect a lot of turbocharged cars. Anyway, thanks for the comment, and I'll talk with you later.

@NCspotter, Hi Nick sorry to read that your summer has more work than play buddy! Hopefully when in Charlotte you can catch a few nice cars that allow you to snap off a few pics. It's always nice to get a chance to see your work behind the camera! A couple of years ago I did drive a California T on the open road, and did get a opportunity to nail the throttle a few times. I did not experience any turbo lag with that powertrain so I am optimistic to think that the 488 should be just as smooth, if not more precise with its air delivery. McLaren V8 turbo engines due have turbo lag but just a slight one ranging from the MP4 to the 675 LT. The 675 is easily one of the best cars in their lineup. Talk with you soon man.

@NCspotter. Hi Nick I'm not surprised that this is your number 1 spot for overall views! Sometimes your personal favorite car is not often the one that the audience likes the most. Out of all of your spots. which one would you like to be number #1? That Countach post is truly a great one as well, IMHO. Talk with you soon brother.

@Horse-Power I never would have imagined any of my posts would hit 5k views on here! It would be tough for me to name a favorite, but I think the silver 997.2 GT3 ranks high on my all-time car spotting list, so I'll go with that for now. The Countach and F355 Spider are right up there as well though. How about you?

@NCspotter. Hi Nick. Honestly my best spot from Atlanta will always be the Maserati MC12. It's a shame that my computer at the time crashed with all of my shots on it. So now I will never have a chance to post her on AG! My best spot in terms of rare and priceless is that 1947-1950 Maserati A6GCS. Just a handful of cars made. There is a few more but these are the two that come to mind first. Anyways brother talk with you soon. I will be looking out for that rare Mercedes ( Spotted, and Posted First here in the USA ) that you will be posting soon.

@NCspotter I just looked at your top 20 spots Nick and all of them are really impressive. That Countach still gets my vote for your all time best spot! This 488 holds the trophy for most views and looks awesome in this shade of blue!

@Horse-Power thanks buddy! I do have a couple of spots I'm saving up for major uploads that might be even more special than the Countach. I'm hopefully about to start a new job, so I've been pretty busy lately, but I hope to get a few more cars posted this week!

Hi Nick. I did receive your email yesterday. Thanks for your message, brother. I was very pleased to read that all is going well with you. I will drop you a proper message in the next day or so. With 2022 almost in the record books, what has your best spot of this past year? Moving to Charlotte has really opened the door for you to use your spotting skills. I have really enjoyed seeing your work not only from this past year but for the length of time that we have been friends. Forever, right. At least 10 years? Happy New Year, brother. I really do hope that your new job explodes with success. I just know that your commitment will be over 100 percent. Talk with you soon, West. @ NCspotter
