Thanks to a new feature of the new website, everybody can see how many spots have been uploaded over the past years. In the past few weeks we have been counting down to the first milestone of 250.000 spots. This spot was uploaded yesterday, on April 29th, by Spotcrew-Beckum.
The main car in this spot is a Noble M12 M400. This Noble was spotted on a place where a lot others cars have been spotted earlier, the Nürburgring. The Noble M12 M400 is a car that is perfectly made for this track: with 425 bhp you accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3,6 seconds and you can reach a top speed of 296 km/h. Thanks to the aerodynamic modifications this car really sticks to the road. The registration plate of this Noble fits the car perfectly, because when you read it you can see that is a combination that can be read as ‘ROCKET’. This does not only refer to the power of the car, but also to Autogespot. Since 2004 everyone can upload a spot. Eight years later, the total has reached 250.000. This means that every day a lot of spots are added to the database and that Autogespot is growing at the speed of a rocket. Of course we could not have this without spotters. We therefore want to thank you for all your efforts to upload nice and cool spots! We are growing every day and we have the intention to expand even more. You will read more about this soon. The question is now: how long will it take before another 250.000 spots will be uploaded?
