Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Black & Carbon White prolong the DB9's life

Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Black & Carbon White prolong the DB9's life

Since 2003, Aston Martin is producing the DB9. You would say that this timeless model is ready for a successor but Aston Martin now prolongs the life of the DB9. In Geneva, they will show us the new Carbon Black and Carbon White series to make the car more exclusive.

The 'new' model isn't very original. The DBS and V12 Vantage also got a Carbon Black edition and in 2011, Aston Martin already came up with a DB9 Morning Frost edition.

Both models are all about one element, carbon fiber. The Carbon Black has a black theme while the Carbon white version is painted in Stratus White, especially to make a 'dramatic visual effect'. On the inside, the carbon fiber theme returns with a lot of carbon fiber accents. Customers can choose different compositions and they can choose between more colours than only black.

Under the hood, not much changes. The AM11 V12 engine still produces 517 hp and 620 Nm of torque. This results in a top speed of 300 kph.
