The following spot is very special. It doesn’t only show the history of the Ford Mustang Shelby, it also shows us that the Shelby was always as brute as nowadays. Possibly more interesting is the mentality with which this car is built. Like a real American, the creed is therefore "There's no substitute for cubic inches". in other words, both cars are equipped with a very big engine!
This time we’re not talking about the new, but the old version in the harbor of Marbella. The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 like we see here, seems to be from 1968. In those days they already placed a seven liters big V8 in the car. The engine produced 355 bhp. This makes the sprint to 100 km/h only last 6.5 seconds and the top speed of the car is just above 200 km/h. It must be amazing to stop at the traffic lights and make a sprint with the newer version, the red one, which is standing behind it. This must give a great soundtrack!
