Spotter Sciaccalex
Spotted in San Felice, Italy
Date 2017-09-16 21:50

This is one of my best find ever. Today I spotted an insanely rare Ferrari 250 California 1459GT, only 6 in the world. The car was randomly parked near San Felice, so I took a few shots. Very cool also to see the engine, this car is priceless, just love it.

Okay, here comes the battle for world's Spot of September. I must say that the battle between this one, the crazy one-off Zonda from London and the 996 GT1 from Luxembourg is the hardest battle in the category of singles (no combos) in this year's voting. But your spot wins for me. I hope I'll see it in the Top12 final.

Btw. the hardest battle of combos was probably that between the Paris combo (One-77, LaFerrari, Huayra Pearl and 250 SWB Berlinetta) and the journey of one-off Huayras in Switzerland together with the P1, Countach and SLR Stirling Moss. I chose that journey, but it was a hard dilema.

There are a lot of incredible cars that can beat even this beautiful 250 California, so I don't think I am going to win, but of course there are some opportunities. Probably the 996 GT1 is going to win, we'll see! Very hard battle btw! @jastrzab

I need to argue a bit about this car , it's actually one of 50 250 LWB California's . They did make 8 that had aluminum bodies , this isn't one of those , this car is # 30 of 50 , for the latter 250 SWB California's they made a total of 55 . The plexiglass hood scoop was custom by the original owner .

What I have written in the description is exactly what a friend of the owner had told me. He was talking about 6 units made: after having a look on the web I have found nothing about this example, so I decided to report what he said to me. [@Ronny Koeller]
