If you really love your car you can always take it with you if you are on vacationing or spending time in another country. That is exactly what the Swiss owner of this Ferrari F12tdf did and he flew his car from Switzerland to California so that he could enjoy his/her exotic in Beverly Hills. I think we can all agree that it is better than renting a car locally, but it is an expensive endeavor! Shipping an exotic car by boat costs anywhere from $4,000 to $8,000 but it will take almost two months for the car to arrive. Shipping it by airplane is very expensive but for a short stay it is obviously the better choice. We have no doubt that the latter of the two options was used. We hope the owner is enjoying his time in California and it must be a different experience to drive your car on the Pacific Coastal Highway compared to the Swiss Alps. We hope that the owner is avoiding the LA gridlock because we are sure it is not the best experience to drive this car in a traffic jam!
