From a fun project to a real product: Nissan Juke R

Nobody believed that some men from Nissan started to build a Nissan Juke with the looks and power of a Nissan GT-R, somewhere in England last year’s September. It was and still is a crazy project. Though the Nissan Juke R is even spotted on Autogespot! But that are just prototypes, the real first Juke R, in matte white, is recently delivered to its owner.

Nissan started selling this crazy creation for a price of 500.000 Euros. But that’s the price without any options. With options, we don’t know which, the car will be even more expensive. For the same money you can buy a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 or Rolls-Royce Drophead Coupe. But when you buy a car like this you will probably already own one of these. The Juke R production version is a bit different than the matte black concept cars. Optical differences are the exhausts and the fronts. The engine is the well-known 3.8 liters V8 which produces 545 bhp. The top speed of the car is 275 km/h and the sprint to 100 km/h takes only three seconds. The car has a low top speed due to the changed gearbox ratios. The focus is on the acceleration of the car. We don’t know how many Juke R’s will be produced but we think that it will be more than twenty copies, because of the popularity of the car.
