Geneva 2013 : Dodge SRT Viper

One of the silent scoops on the Geneva Motor Show is the SRT Viper, previously known as the Dodge Viper. With two models, they stand next to the stand of Mercedes-Benz, some of the visitors may have missed this stand. It was quite silent at the stand which gave us a lot of time to pay attention to the details of this American supercar.

Remarkable is the fact that the SRT Viper looks quite a lot like the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The Viper looks a bit more powerful and it actually is too. Under the hood, we find the old-fashioned V10. This engine is 8.4 liters big and the most important part of the Viper. Thanks to this enormous engine, the car has a lot of power. 650 hp to be precise and this makes the car sprint to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds. This due the enormous wide rear tires which are characterizing for the Viper.

It’s a shame that the car is so expensive in Europe because of all the taxes. That’s why it will be quite a rare car and this makes it great to see this car in Geneva!
