More than 1,300 copies of the closed version are already made and with the introduction of the Roadster the car will become an ever bigger success. It’s the perfect combination of the ultimate driving experience and a supercar. Lamborghini did more than just cut off the roof. The part between the engine and the passengers is redesigned to make the carbon fiber roof panels fit perfect. The two panels weigh only six kilograms.
You can recognize the convertible on a two-tone finish. The A-style, the roof and a part of the back are painted in gloss black. But of course, the car is also available in only one colour. New and made especially for the Aventador LP700-4 is the metallic blue colour, Azzuro Thetis. The car also has some new Dione wheels, 20 inch on the front and 21 inch at the back of the car.
The performance of the car is still very good. The top speed of the car lays at 350 kph and the sprint to 100 kph takes only three seconds. In the back, you find the same 6.5 liters V12 which still produces 700 hp. An ISR seven speed gearbox makes you switch gears faster than you can do with a manual gearbox.
