The new Maserati Quattroporte isn’t available that long but in Frankfurt, Maserati comes up with the first special limited edition. It’s a good thing that they won’t place the name on the outside of the car because the Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition is quite a long name. The limited edition is special because of the used materials, finishing and colours. It’s the first announced cooperation between Maserati and the fashion brand.
Maserati, who presents the car as a limited edition concept, has the intention to come up with a production version of the car in 2014. Ermenegildo Zegna’s concept for the Maserati Quattroporte limited edition is the result of a close cooperation between both companies which have a lot of similarities like history, tradition and exclusivity. The exterior of the Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition concept car has a special finish of the paint which shows the purity of metal thanks to very fine aluminum pigments. A shiny black base layer strengthens the aluminum pigments and creates some depth. An important role for the Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition concept car has the interior. Classic, warm tints like mocha and grey beige refer to the new fashion collection of Zegna. Components in the interior like the seats, door panels and headlining are made out of soft leather, next to a very soft and light material which comes from Zegna and is very suitable for cars.
