IAA 2015: Mercedes-AMG S 63 Cabriolet

Mercedes goes back into history this year because for the first time in decades they came up with a cabriolet version of the S-Class. The last time this officially happened was back in the sixties when the roof of the W111 was taken off. The W126 was quite popular as a cabriolet but all these versions were built by tuning companies or coach builders, because the Mercedes factory never produced a topless W126.

But let's get back to the present. In Frankfurt, Mercedes introduces their luxurious AMG cabriolet which is powered by the well-known 5.5 liter V8 which also powers the Coupé and Sedan version of this model. We know what this engine is capable of and we're wondering if you can sit in the back seats without getting your hair messed up.
