Spotter NCspotter
Spotted in Charlotte (NC), United States of America
Date 2016-04-29 15:22

I have been wanting to post this for a couple weeks now but have been slammed with college. My mom, brother, and I were driving back up through Charlotte when my brother screamed out "COUNTACH!!!!" as we passed a bar in the South End area. Needless to say, I turned around and drove back to The Beer Growler bar on South Blvd to snap some pics. This is the first pre-Murcielago era Lamborghini I have managed to get pics of in the wild. This is the first of a couple of heavy hitters that I have spotted recently : )

Auto details

Topspeed 292 KM/H
Acceleration 0-100 KM/H 4.80 s

Weight 1490 kg

@Jurick thanks man! I think this is the only Countach in Charlotte (or at least the only one that is ever driven), and I usually have terrible luck getting Lambos on camera, so I am pretty happy I was able to catch this one. I had actually spotted it earlier that day driving past Whole Foods in Southpark, but was unable to snap any pics.

@Vic's Veyron thanks! I've seen this at a couple of local car shows, but this was the first time I had spotted it in the wild.

@NCspotter. Hi Nick this maybe my favorite spot of yours. Not only is it a hard car to spot in the wild but you captured the moment brilliantly by snapping off some stunning shots! Well done for sure.

@Horse-Power thanks West! This is the same Countach that you spotted in Charlotte a couple years back.

@NCspotter, Hi Nick I just had to go back to this outstanding spot of yours! Since I am a product of the 80's the two cars that my dad fueled my testosterone with are this Lambo, and the Ferrari BB512i Boxer. If I had to choose between them the Boxer would be my first choice. Which one would you go with?

@Horse-Power it would be a tough choice, but I think I like the looks of the Ferrari a little better so I would probably go with it. There is both BB512 and a BB512i in Charlotte, but I have only seen them at car shows. It has been a very long time since I have spotted any sort of classic Ferrari, so hopefully that means whenever I do spot one, it will be something really good like a BB!

@NCspotter Hi Nick. Out of all of your Lamborghini posts which one is your favorite? I know you do not get the chance to see a ton of them running around, but the ones that you have captured any spotter no matter where they lived would be proud to have them on his or hers pages! I love the SV spot, but this one is epic, brother!

@Horse-Power really good question. I don't think I could list a particular favorite, but my top five in no particular order would be this of course (the only Countach I've ever seen in person), a Diablo Roadster that I was unable to get any pics of, a Gallardo 50° Anniversario with a gated manual that I haven't posted yet, a Huracan LP610 Vorsteiner Novara tuned by Underground Racing that I haven't posted yet, and a matte yellow Aventador SV I spotted earlier this year in Charlotte (not sure if I got enough pics to share on here).
