Spotter NCspotter
Spotted in Wrightsville Beach (NC), United States of America
Date 2015-12-18 03:00

Among all of my spottings and all of my combos, this is probably at the top of my list due to the Esprit's rarity. I've only seen like five Esprits in the wild all time, and two of them happened to be parked next to each other. I had seen the red Esprit V8 numerous times on trips to the beach parked across from the Wrightsville Yacht Club (it appears to be a daily driver), but on one trip I stumbled upon the black one parked next to it! I believe the black one is twin turbocharged. This is an older spotting and I had almost forgotten about it, but I wanted to share these. I am posting this as the red Esprit V8 btw. You can also see a dark blue Audi RS7 at a house in the background in some of the pics.

@OPspotters Thanks man! The one you posted (which I voted for in today's SOTD by the way) was actually what made me remember this spotting, as I had almost forgotten about these! Do I need to have the model category changed?

There's one that lives in my area with NY plates reading "95 LOTUS" and there's a yellow one that only spotted once at a gas station in December 2012 and I haven't seen it since. I'll have to upload the photos here sometime.

Hi Nick, It's nice to get the chance to see the twins in large format as well as having more than two angles to see! Great work again man.

Great combo spot Nick! I'd go with the red one personally.

@Lamborarri thanks man! I think I would have to go with the black one, as I don't particularly care for the wheels on the red one.

@NCspotter, Hi Nick I hope all is well buddy? Were you able to check out the solar eclipse yesterday? My girlfriend, and I traveled almost 4 hours to Cookeville Tennessee to get the full experience. I even proposed to her when the sky was in total darkness. She did give me a BIG YES lol. Any girl who can spot alongside me as much as she does is a keeper! Anyways buddy I am looking forward to your next post. Talk with you soon, and once again catching one Esprirt is a great spot to get twins is a perfect spotting day!

@Horse-Power hi West, yes I did check it out yesterday afternoon. Where I live did not experience a total eclipse, but it did get noticeably darker and the crickets started chirping for a little while. I could actually see the shadowed reflection of the sun on the driveway, which was pretty cool. It would have been awesome to see it from one of the places that experienced a total eclipse, but sadly I was not in Charlotte this week. It would have only been about an hour and a half from Charlotte to Columbia, SC. But anyway, CONGRATS man! Girls who can live with a car spotter are insanely hard to find, so you're definitely one of the fortunate few! Keep treating her right and she'll keep treating you right, and best of luck to y'all in the future! And I promise I'll post something soon!

Awesome combo Nick! Cool second shot with the water reflection. Remember that I traveled with my family to experience the total eclipse. Feels like yesterday!
