The moment has finally arrived. McLaren has started production of the Artura and the first deliveries to customers have started. It has taken a long time, but McLaren's problem child is finally here.
The first spots are trickling in from the successor to the 570S. The new Artura is completely new. Engine, gearbox and even the carbon fiber monocoque has been redesigned. Something that has not happened since the 12C because McLaren used the same monocoque in many cases. Not for the Artura, with which McLaren also abandoned the type designations with letters and numbers. A name for a car is cooler, just like the McLaren Senna.
The Artura is therefore completely new and has a V6 on board with the help of a hybrid engine. 680 hp is the total power and a torque of 720 Nm. The 1,395 kilo heavy Artura can handle that very well because it reaches 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and the top speed of 330 km/h is quite high!
