The XJ Supersport has a Sport- and Speedpack. The topspeed is now 174 mph, or 280 km/h. At the front, there is a V8 with a supercharger, enough for more than 500 bhp. Important is that for the safety of the passenger the interior has been given a huge make-over. There are no luxury seats but sport seats and a roll cage. Frank Klaas, the head of Communication for Jaguar and Land rover, says that this is the perfect Jaguar to show people the sportiveness of a Jaguar. It isn't known if everyone can go for a lap in the Jaguar. This wil mainly be customers, but maybe Jaguar will join the M5 models while drifting around the Ring.
