There's something new happening in the automotive world. The last few years, more and more sports cars are equipped with automatic gearboxes which wastes the charm of the manual gearbox. Sports cars with a manual gearbox can be seen as a dying species which also results in an increasing price of these models. Especially the RS models by Porsche are seen as a very solid investment. Next year, Porsche will come up with the 991 R to keep the purists happy. It's a limited model which is already sold out. Next to that, the future GT3 will be available with a traditional manual gearbox. Most of the owners will prefer the PDK gearbox but the real purist will still love the option for the manual gearbox.
