The Factory Five, a relatively unknown brand from the United States of America. They don’t offer complete cars but they do offer kits. The owners of the following car had to built it themselves. But this does result in “The Fastest Car You Will Ever Build In Your Garage.”, according to Car & Driver Magazine. Let’s see if they’re correct!
The powertrain of the car is a mix of the engine of a Chevrolet Corvette and a gearbox from Porsche. Sor far, so good, because this combination produces at least 400 bhp. To build the entire car you need a manual of 600 pages next to a lot of time! You’ll need 1500 bolts and screws, all numbered and described in the manual. This whole package costs only 21,000 Dollars, quite a bargain. But don’t forget, it takes a lot of time to build this car but eventually you can say that you’ve built your own car!
