Spot of the Day USA: Maserati MC12 in Greenwich!

50 copies, that is the limited number that Maserati built of the MC12. That makes this car a true collector’s item, and that unfortunately means that most of the copies will spend their days in their owner's comfortable garages. So how special is it to see one on the road? Spotter Rivitography reserved this stunning MC12 for spot #1,000, congrats!

We would like to congratulate Jason with spot #1,000 and we hope that many spots will follow! The Maserati MC12 is a great way to celebrate this milestone. The Maserati is based on the Ferrari Enzo, and that makes this car even more special. But Maserati did an amazing job in giving the MC12 a unique design, because it is hard to find any comparison between the MC12 and the Enzo, especially when you base it only on the exterior. The MC12 is longer and wider, something that is not always practical when you want to maneuver this car in narrow streets. The engine produces 630 hp, 481 lbf·ft of torque and reaches 62 mph in 3.8 seconds. Today that is not all that impressive, but the design of the MC12 is timeless and continues to be impressive. Just look at it...and enjoy!
