Spotted: a unique Porsche Cayman by Royal Customs

Back in 2011, tuner TopCar showed an impression of an bodykit for the Porsche 997 Turbo. That’s where this story starts, starring an unique project spotted in Dubai, the Cayman Royal Customs 911 Top Speed Bodykit.


Royal Customs is a tuning company located in Dubai. They earn their bread by tuning cars of rich customers, who are looking for an unique car. This could be either an ASMA X5 M of this Porsche Cayman. A car enthusiast was looking for unique modifications for his Porsche, so he contacted Royal Customs. Royal Customs made a bodykit for this Cayman due using digital sketches. In September 2011 this car was handed to Royal Customs, in November the car was completed. The Cayman has got a completely new bodywork. A new front bumper and sideskirts are just the beginning, the car can become notably wider due the new rear bumper. All new parts give the Cayman a completely new look.

The project is named Topspeed, a reference to TopCar, who gave Royal Customs inspiration for the bodykit. On the moment of speaking, TopCar started developing a new bodykit for the Porsche 991 Carrera 4S which will be presented this autumn in Frankfurt. The owner says, this project confirms their slogan: "Royal Customs is an unique personalization-centre which makes dreams of fans come true.’’
