Dartz, the company that gets a lot of media attention because of their crazy projects and cars. Two years ago, they made the Prombron GoldRussian Chinese Edition to celebrate their ‘welcome’ in the Chinese market. This copy was captured before it headed to China, back in the days and is now finally uploaded on Autogespot.

Dartz presented this model in 2011, during the Chengdu Motor Show. The car was already sold to a wealthy Chinese who wanted to travel safe before the exhibition even started. This version has a unique paint which is named Chinese Royal Gold and the logos from Dartz also have some gold details. Further, the owner got a RussoBaltique logo and a Dartz phone, of course also in gold. In front of the car, we find a eight liters V8 diesel engine from General Motors which produces 456 hp. The price of this model is just above one million Euros.

Moreover, the company Dartz celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Although, 25 years under the lead of Leonard F. Yankelovich. The founding of the company takes us back to 1869 under the name The Russo-Baltic Wagon Factory when they made the first coachbuild cars. Since Leo’s in charge, very special cars are made such as a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with six wheels and the armored cars for the movie Die Hard 5. But most of you will probably know the company because of the Dartz Prombron Kombat.
