Over the years Lamborghini has introduced several varieties of the Aventador. Examples are the Aventador SV, Aventador Miura Homage, Aventador Pirelli Edition and more recently Lamborghini introduced the Aventador S. In 2013, Lamborghini introduced the 720-4 50° anniversario in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini.
The 50° anniversario is a rare appearance, because worldwide only 100 coupes and 100 roadsters were sold. Most of these copies were finished in the special Giallo Maggio color. Under the hood the engine received a boost of 20 hp, bringing the total to 720 horsepower (as the name suggests, with its 6.5-liter V12 engine. The anniversary edition has a redesigned front and rear fascias, including aerodynamic and ventilation improvements. And to make sure that everybody knows that this is a 50° anniversario, Lamborghini added several decals to the car.
