Spotted: Porsche Cayman S 2013

One of the new Porsche we can see in Geneva will be the new Cayman. Although this model won’t get as much attention as the 991 GT3 which will also be revealed in Geneva. The new Cayman follows the line of design from Porsche which we also see in the new Boxster. In Baden-Baden, Germany, the first Cayman S was spotted.

The new Cayman looks better than its predecessor. Porsche has given the car a completely new bodywork but it’s still recognizable as a Cayman. Important details are the headlights, air intakes on the side and the taillights. These components are exactly the same as the ones on the Boxster. Next to that, the car weighs less and is wider. The Cayman S has a six-cylinder Boxer engine with 325 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. With the manual gearbox you will sprint to 100 kph in just five seconds. Porsche also offers this car with the PDK gearbox and Sport Chrono Pack. This makes the Cayman S just a bit faster.
