The Challenge 2012, last week you could read the latest news about this crazy rally. The most divergent cars competed this event and it was a pleasure to drive with them. The plans for this week changed on Thursday. The weather on the location where we were heading was very bad so we decided to stay in Cannes.
This was not a bad choice after all and we’ve enjoyed the sun on this day off. Saturday we had to drive the last stage to end the day in the VIP Room in Paris. Unfortunately this did not go according to the plan. The holiday in France was ending and this caused major traffic jams. We also had a small leak in our right rear tire. After a few stops to keep enough air in the tire it ended for us near Montelimar. We had a flat tire and the only option left was to tow the car away. Finding a tire on a Saturday afternoon in France is quite hard. Especially when you’re looking for a tire for a Ferrari 599 GTO. That’s why we decided to take a taxi to Paris so we wouldn’t miss a thing of the last party. We made a good choice doing this because we partied until the early morning…
