What a drama for Porsche. After a few burned down 991 GT3s, Porsche decided to recall all the copies and fit them all with a new engine. Owners were compensated for the time they had to miss their car although not everybody was happy with this. That's not so strange, because you're really looking forward to this car and then find out that the car's not safe at all. Meanwhile, the first copies are back on the streets and we can finally start to enjoy the spots of this model again!
The 991 GT3 is a big improvement compared with the previous generation, the 997 GT3. It's almost just as fast as the Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 and that promises a true spectacle with the Porsche 991 GT3 RS which is still to come. Of course, the Porsche 991 GT3 is fitted with a 3.8 liter straight six engine. This engine produces a power of 475 hp and that's quite a performance. The engine is capable of making 9.000 rotations per minute and that's an amazing detail of this car. The car is just perfect so we're really wondering what Porsche will to do make the 991 GT3 RS even better. We will probably hear more about this car soon but for now we can finally enjoy the Porsche 991 GT3 on the streets again!
