The very first Praga Bohema on the site

We have another exciting car to introduce on our website. The Praga Bohema is an extremely exotic vehicle with a stunning design that combines elements of a supercar and a Formula 1 car. Let's dive into some interesting details about this car:

The Praga Bohema is a mid engine two seater that could easily pass as a long distance racing car for Le Mans. It features a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis, weighing only 982 kilograms when dry. At a speed of 250 km/h, the aerodynamics of the car generate nearly 900 kilograms of downforce. The upward opening doors add a touch of supercar flair. The carbon fiber bodywork showcases front mounted suspension components, while a single large cover at the rear hides the engine, transmission, and suspension. The front wings are non structural, and the side mirrors are mounted on long rigid stalks. Inside the aerodynamically shaped rear wheel arches, there are 50-liter storage compartments, with optional custom-fit leather luggage available, providing enough space for a racing helmet, suit, boots, or small weekend travel essentials.

The Praga Bohema boasts individual wheel suspensions with horizontally mounted spring elements to ensure optimal road handling without compromising comfort entirely. However, it does not feature adaptive suspension control. The car is equipped with 18 inch front and 19 inch rear wheels, fitted with tires sized 245/40 ZR 18 and 305/30 ZR 19, respectively. For track use, 18 inch wheels compatible with current racing tires are also available. The braking power comes from a carbon ceramic braking system with 380mm discs and six piston calipers.

Under the hood, the brakes face the challenge of harnessing 700 horsepower and 725 Nm of torque from the 3.8 liter V6 twin turbo engine, adapted from the Nissan GTR. The engine is mounted longitudinally behind the passengers. Litchfield, a British tuner, has provided additional power and a switch to dry sump lubrication. Litchfield is known for offering GTR engines with over 1,000 horsepower, which could potentially be utilized in the Bohema as well. Shifting is done through a sequential Hewland gearbox with an automated clutch. The V6 exhaust gases exit through a titanium exhaust system equipped with oversized catalysts for road compliant emissions. The car carries a fuel capacity of 74 liters to ensure ample range for long journeys.

The Praga Bohema is set to be launched in the first quarter of 2023, with initial production limited to ten vehicles in the first year and a maximum of 20 vehicles per year for the following four years. The total production will not exceed 89 units, with Praga paying homage to a historic road racing victory 89 years ago. The price for the Bohema starts at 1.28 million euros, excluding taxes. Each buyer will receive an exclusive handover experience at the racetrack, including comprehensive instruction.
