More than a year ago, Mercedes-Benz announced that they would start to produce the SLS AMG E-Cell. Until now, only three copies have been spotted, including the very first copy in an outstanding green colour! The question is how can you recognize the E-Cell compared with a normal SLS AMG with its roaring V8.
When you spot the car while its driving, it immediately stands out that this isn’t the normal V8 version. The electric SLS AAMG has a 48kWh lithium-ion battery which drives the four electric engines. The total amount of power is 533 hp and the car has 880 Nm of torque. The sprint to 100 kph takes only four seconds, 0.2 seconds longer than the SLS AMG. The optical adjustments of the E-Cell are headlights with new LED-technology, a wider grill and big diffuser on the back, without any exhausts.
