Where the Chinese can still learn

If the Chinese can still learn something from the Europeans, it's how to properly camouflage a car. This test vehicle, also known as a "mule," was sloppily done.

When car manufacturers test new cars, they often disguise them as "mules." The idea is that visual patterns deceive the eye, so the lines and silhouettes are not noticeable. European carmakers have years of experience in camouflaging a car perfectly. They use not only decals but also entire coverings. A good example is Ferrari. They even add elements under the disguise, making it nearly impossible to guess the shape of the car.
These days, even Chinese cars are being tested in Europe. Here, we're looking at a camouflaged BYD Sea Lion 7. But it's quickly obvious that this isn't the most refined camouflage. Perhaps the disguise was ordered from Temu, because it doesn't seem to stay in place as it should. You can already see parts of the car peeking through, which is not the intended outcome. Also, the decals seem to be made up of 10,000 different pieces, which is not very professional either. Let's hope the Chinese can learn from this...
