Bugatti loves records. These historic facts change the history. They already set the speed record for the fastest street legal production car in the world, but that’s not enough. They now did a new attempt with the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse. Indeed, the 1200 hp strong open car. Of course, they will come up with a special model to celebrate the new record.
The record is set at 408.84 kph. With the roof open! Don’t you dare to stick your head or hand out of the roof because that will be quite dangerous. In Ehra-Lessien, the location where Bugatti sets their records, it all took place. This new record gives Bugatti the possibility to offer a limited edition of the Grand Sport Vitesse. This car will be named World Record Car Edition, WRC Edition in short. Limited to only eight copies and with a price of 1.99 million Euros, excluding taxes, this will be a very exclusive car. The colours will be black and orange, just like the closed version. Who will spot the first copy?!
