Maserati’s new little one, the Ghibli, is presented a few weeks ago and we’re now waiting for the first spot to be uploaded. Until then, we just have to do it with the spyshots, of which one was uploaded recently. The Ghibli can be seen as a sort of mini-Quattroporte and that’s not a bad thing.
The new Quattroporte has got one big disadvantage, its predecessor. That was a great car, especially after the facelift, that it would be very hard to surpass that car. The first reactions are mostly negative. People have to get used to the design but that can also be a good thing. Some cars become more beautiful after some time and maybe that’s the same thing with the Quattroporte. The Ghibli has a predecessor, but that car was made in 1973. Maserati took the dust of the name and placed it on the small sedan. Recently, Maserati announced that the car won´t get a V8. But probably Maserati will eventually come up with a very powerful model with a V8, that´s just a matter of time!
