2014 was another very succesful year for Porsche. This year they will probably sell over 200.000 cars for the first time ever. Porsche is very ambitious and they're already working on a seventh model. This model will be availble at the local dealerships in five years.
Porsche is now completing the plans of this new model. The car will definitely come although the management still needs to give it a go. This car will be positioned next to the Macan, Cayenne, Panamera, Cayman, Boxster and 911. The 918 Spyder isn't counted in this list because it's a limited model. There's a big demand for another product by Porsche and CEO Matthias Müller states that the car will be available before 2020. According to AutoNews this can be a completley electric model to compete with Tesla. Another option is a smaller and sporty sedan where people are talking about for years already. Eventually it's also possible that they will come up with a Shooting Brake model of the Panamera.
Porsche can easily use this extension because there's a growing demand for luxurious cars. Last year, Porsche set another sales record just like Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini. Up to 189.849 new Porsches were delivered to their new owners. This total consists up to 45.000 copies of the Macan. The expectations are that this will only keep on growing thanks to the upcoming economies. China and India keep on growing and the demand and the United States also keeps on growing. We expect some amazing years for Porsche!
